Meet Chris McAllister. He is the founder and lead financial planner at MainBridge Wealth, a firm dedicated to helping clients pursue financial confidence in retirement. With over a decade of experience in the financial industry, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to his clients' financial well-being.
Chris's path to becoming a financial planner was uniquely personal. Initially, he sought financial planning advice but found that he couldn't meet the minimum requirements set by top advisors. Determined to take control of his financial future, he invested in his education and returned to school to study financial planning, initially for his own benefit. His passion for the field grew, and he decided to dedicate his career to helping others.
Chris received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and furthered his education by studying financial planning at Georgetown University. He holds several certifications and licenses, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), and Series 7, 66, and 24 held with LPL Enterprise.
Over the years, Chris has worked with hundreds of families, guiding them through the complexities of financial planning. He has also led and mentored numerous advisors, helping them launch their careers. After serving as a Regional Director for the state of Virginia, Chris decided to change his focus to building MainBridge Wealth.
Outside of his professional life, Chris is a devoted family man. He is married to Kassidy and is the proud father of two children, Luke (4) and Hailey (2). When he's not working, Chris enjoys woodworking, sports, running, and camping. He also loves spending quality time with his family, whether it's exploring their favorite destinations like Asheville, NC, and Deep Creek Lake, MD, or traveling internationally to Aruba and Cabo.
